Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. She also served the SSC as a producer, costume/set design composer/music director and coach for text while serving as Artistic Direction. Though generally leading from within the acting ensemble during her last year, she made her debut as director (and lighting designer) for SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Markie Post is associated with several games shows, in addition to her acting work. She was raised by her siblings and two brothers in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife, a poetess Marylee Post. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. After a brief stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post she got married to Stephen Knox in the past. Since 1982 she has been married to actor and writer Michael A. Ross with whom they have two children. Post is a wonderful actress, ideal spouse and mother, as well as an excellent role model for numerous Hollywood stars.
